This is my first post so. Hi Guys and Girls.

I hope that someone on here could help me out with a bit of an annoying issue.

I've purchased a '92 Fiesta Calypso.

It's the one with the electric vinyl roof.

The issue being that fully closed isn't quite fully closed.In fact there is about a 1 -1½ cm gap around the front which wasn't much fun when it decided to rain hard the first time I went out in it.

I've completely removed the top of the rails and peeled the skin back to see whats under there and to see if there is any way of moving the frame forward a little in relation to the cover, so that the pegs on the frame will slide down into the awaiting holes, pinching the cover onto the rubber seal at the front....no such luck. Everything put back and exactly the same. The rest of the roof seems to sit perfectly.

Has anyone had a similar issue or have any info on what the issue is or how it could be solved.

Had a thought.

Does anyone know if the length of the roof skeleton changed, even slightly between the years?

I'm wondering if the previous owner had it replaced but he wrong years roof was used.

Mine is a '92 (mk3) and I'm unsure what years the calypso model was produced.
