I had connected the 2 plugs to the fuel pump the wrong way around.

an easy mistake to make. Mind you wouldn't you think that they would just have reversed the male/female connectors on one of the lines making that kind of mistake impossible?

I'm still not quite sure how it happened and yes, very irritating that two plugs so close together are identical in all but colour. It had me absolutely deranged trying to figure it out. I even bought a recon injector thinking that this was the cause as one was showing as performing badly in the diagnostics. Could have saved my money.

Hello just looking for some advice, had some problems with my heating system lately, my temperature gauge sits in the middle which is normal but sometimes drops when letting foot off the accelerator, (never overheats) I’ve had a new thermostat and problems still occurred, had a new oil cooler as well, had my car looked at today and been told it’s the egr cooler. Does anybody know if I get this replaced will my heaters start blowing hot air again, car blows cold air constantly even when been driving long enough for the heaters to heat up but still nothing

Could be many things.
When engine has warmed up, try feeling the pipes in various places and see if they are hot. I’d also replace the cabin filter if it hasn’t been done. If this gets clogged, it will drastically affect the heat output. Was the thermostat a genuine part? Might be worth testing to see what temperature it starts opening.
