I would be seriously miffed if that scaffolding landed on my car. Though for that matter, I wouldn't park near scaffolding...

I try to avoid walking near scaffolding as much as I can. So many people going about their daily business have died after these things have suddenly tumbled down on top of them.

I was driving home, along the most rural Dorset/Devon country lanes, in the storm of 87.

Although, I thought it was rather windy, and I was rather wary of the swaying trees: it wasn't until I got home, I realised on TV, how bad it actually was! :o
