This forum can make one feel old sometimes . . . . & I'm only as old as the cars I drive . . :)

We are of similar vintages :)

Shame about the Focus, but thank God the 306 was OK!

I truly hope there was supposed to be a :p or a lol, or something to accompany that statement.... lol

I would sacrifice ten of those pugs for the focus :p

But the 306 is a classic!

Yeah . . . . . classic froggie kak

T-cut and duct tape are all that are needed, possibly a tin of WD40 in case.

You forgot the cable ties - with duct tape and cable ties, anything is possible :P

No lie, I carry duct tape, cable ties, WD40 and a multi-tool in the car due to this being true.

I've got duct tape and cable ties but not WD40 or a multi-tool, in just about every room in house; apart from the downstairs loo

I'm not as prepared you <_<

I remember the storm of '87 all too well - 'twas interesting to say the least . . :(

28 at the time

i was 19,i slept through it.pulled the curtains back and thought the garden looked a tad messy.

got in my van and drove down the road and thought wot the feek has happened?a 6' wall had been lifted from 1 side of the road and placed on the other side.turned into a main road THAT was tree lined and saw various huge trees embedded into houses, utter carnage,it took me nearly 3 hours to get to brighton.

I seem to recall that south east took a much greater hit than south west.

i saw utter devastation in the sticks in the weeks after,

i was working at a house where the 2 old age occupants decided to go downstairs and make a cup of t,the main chimney stack decided to go and fell through the roof took there bed completely out and ended up in the lounge downstairs.

me thinks someone was looking down on them.

chelwood gate near ashdown forest iirc lost thousands of trees.

and we all know about 1 oak,soz 7 oaks.

wonder did the ford owner get the full payment for the focus

I carry all that's needed on me and in my car. And they are a necessity. A length of BALE STRING(this is the most vital thing in the whole of humanities existence), my pocket knife and a washer or a penny. Why a penny or a washer you ask? Well if you need a 17mm socket and you've only got a 18mm, Bob's your uncle. Also handy for when you have no nails. As for the storm of 87, I wasn't even a twinkle in me daddies eye, 92 was the year I shamed the planet
