I was going to get a second hand fuse board in the morning to try to rectify the problem. So you saved me a few bucks Thanks again Ian

Moving post to correct section*

Sorry for any hassle.

no problem , here to help, next thing is why did it blow, check all lights work, probably high resistance in one of the lighting circuits or a dodgey bulb

we got there in the end.lol

As a new member you should read any "stickies". That way you won't make mistakes :)

Don't worry about it, just go back and give all the stickies a read and all is good.

Had to change a headlight bulb maybe that was the culprit.

Surely the bulb blowing could have caused it?

I've had filament bulbs at work trip dimmer cards when they blow..

Although they're 750w+ not 30~ ;)

I found a damaged parking light wire behind the headlight where I had tapped into ages ago for some led strips. I used a scotch connector I guess they are not the best just the easiest.Would this be the cause? I have done a temp repair till the rain stops.

yep , that could be it,

yep , that could be it,

If you wouldn't mind Ian. as my wife also drives the car and the reverse light is so bad, I fitted reverse sensors a few months ago. I fitted a reverse camera a month ago and the sensors stopped working days later. Do you think its too much of a draw. they are both wired to reverse light wiring.

so the sensors stopped working but the camera still works? if thats the case then sounds like poor connection for sensor power or earth, if theres to much draw then reverse fuse will blow, or even the sensors/module is faulty and a coincidence.
