The cats are waiting for you to get the baubles out: all cats love sparring with an Xmas bauble :D

Mine have yet to be removed from their summer quarters - up in the loft

Lol I *still* haven't got around to doing the tree...We'll it's in the living room partially unwrapped and smelling absolutely gorgeous, still needs fixing properly to its pot thing, unwrapping completely then decorating.

Still not sure whether to for the gold or red this year - or a mix of both...

Forgot to attach so far piccy...

Well, it's a start, I thought about getting mine out yesterday, and then forgot - it remains in the loft :D

My trees, tinsel, lights and baubles are now in the lounge, awaiting assembly :)

Tree and Dec's are up, forgot to take pictures lol

(At work btw)

I've spent far too long unravelling the multiple sets of lights, who have coiled and intertwined themselves, into a mass of "very irksome-ness"

mine's waiting to get burnt in the fire

Here's the tree,

And I'll get a picture of front garden tonight; 🎅

My brother Jason is an electrician and kindly donated some outdoor decorations that were obsolete in storage.

The most decoration here is a poinsettia plant. Not really bothered this year, will probably buy a tree next year though.

You could always decorate one of your upright vacuums, or indeed all of them ;)

Don't give me ideas

Ours is a 7ft real tree, that the dog likes launching all the pines everywhere lol with decorations etc and a few random bits of tinsel stuck on the walls and shelve lol. Looks naff to be honest

Molly the younger cat is giving me bauble problems :( , each time I get them on, she knocks them off, and then chases them round and round, until she gets them wedged under something.

I forgot how long it takes to decorate a tree when you have a younger cat. :o Bunty waits until everything is erected before she selects a bauble to hunt.

Apart knocking the tree over with her tail, just as I'd got it positioned on it's pedestal; Brandy is rather indifferent to it

Pets are awesome,

each have different personality

We normally have a sacrificial bauble each year to distract the cats.

As soon as it's done and we turn our back though one of them is usually trying to climb it which more often than not ends up with it falling over and taking a load of things out on its way down.

Now that would've been a good idea - sacrificial baubles :)

Just got an idea for after Christmas

put real tree standing up in rear garden with the Turkey carcass stuck on top get a cup of tea and watch the cats climb up

Decorations so far, despite Molly the bauble hunter slowing everything down

Of all the trees in the garden, the cylindrical yew at the front would the most suitable, even comes with point top for spearing the turkey carcass. :D

Of course if it were a raw chicken carcase; Brandy would be climbing up with the cats

Although we don't have the C.E.O.'s family with us this year, we've had the trees & deccies up since the 5th & they'll stay up 'till the 3rd of Jan'

As we are Family free we're spending Christmas eve, day & Boxing day & the 30th & New Years eve with the pooch at a local Hotel - as we don't wanna be home alone :(

We wish all the F.O.C. members & staff a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year :) :) :)

Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to you as well Mark! We won't be home alone although I'm working :-(. So I miss out on going to the in laws farm and having a massive Christmas dinner and buffet tea. 1 disadvantage to starting a new job this year

It's a pity the cows can't have a day a two off!

You need one of the robotic milk parlours, that keep getting mentioned on Farming Today.

Maybe your father-in-law would like to buy you one; after all, you are his daughter's significant other, and father to his grandkids <_<
