Bonnet will not open

Featured Replies

Anyone had a problem with the bonnet not opening. It's only three weeks old and have opened it twice before. This morning I pulled the lever and nothing happened (apart from the lever moving that is). It feels as if it has become detached from the bonnet end. Anyway, I am waiting for the Ford garage to 'phone me back as they are busy.

Cheers

Yes, I have checked that is shut properley. Does anyone know how to open the bonnet externally?

I have fixed it. Inside the car the outer cable fits via a slot into a very flimsy plastic lever. It had come out. Put it back in and now OK.
