fiesta z-tec S blueing at high revs.

Featured Replies

hi all,

had my mate on his bike to follow me on his motorbike today to check if the car was blueing at revs and he says it is.

basicly at idol its fine....no smell nothing but aparently at full wack it stinks badly.

now i was wondering could this be down to the wrong oil and the oil passing the rings?

as recently its lost alot of oil and i found it was leking from the sump because of loose sump bolts

Now i though this was the problem sorted but today i looked at the oil again and its gone down to the half way mark again.

the car has nearly done 100k and i bought it at 94k

any help much apriciated.

many thanks

hi all,

went to do a compression test on it today but unfortanatly the one i have, the threa disnt long enough as the spak plugs are inset.

anyways i had a look in the colinder (Through the plug hole) and they look a healthy blackish silverish colour?

so its either gota be the rings or im thinking maby a leaky valve seal?

anyone any advice?
