Ford Focus 55"

Hi everybody/anybody,

Hope there is some out there that can help me with my focus problem?.

Over a matter of three weeks now my wife has  had an electric problem. on a Friday, went to come home from work.Weather was atrocious .

Went to start car, message with all lights on ENGINE SYSTEM FAULT, AA came, assumed it was loose lead behind steering wheel, got it going.

went to use Saturday morning, same fault. called AA again Sunday. diagnosed transporter receiver. Had that done. Ok for 5 days !! then lights came back on with the words

on dashboard " reduced accelerator ". Seems to clear its self after a while!!! I'm thinking now;does it have something to do with all the wet weather we are having and is it getting into

the electrics somewhere and then drying out a little to make it run properly again. I know this is a bit of an essay but tried to put you in the picture.Has anybody got any suggestions

with sprays or something, where to look for water coming in? Thought about hosing it down to see if it creates a fault. Help!!!! sooooooo frustrating.

Many thanks for your time.

John
