Can you fit a 3m rod in a mk1 focus

Hi everybody,

I am new to the forum and new focus driving, I got a 1986 vw polo as my first car and after some reliability issues I decided to get a mk1 facelift focus. Compared to my old polo its a supercar. However the question is would I be able to fit a 3m long rod in it.

If one end of the rod was in the passenger footwell is there enough space to fit diagonally across the car?

The context of this question is that I have to drive 100m tomorrow to collect a 3m long rod for a friend however I am not entirely sure if it will actually fit in my car
