Can't hear sound from rear speakers, what could be the reason ?

Featured Replies

I have a 2006 mk2 focus sport 1.8 TDCI

I noticed the rear speakers in my car are not working, I'm wondering if they have ever worked since I have had my car ?

I would like to know, what could be the cause for no sound from the rear speakers ?  I assume my car has rear speakers.  I don't know if both speakers are blown or if there is a setting on the cd player that is the cause such as fade, how can I find the fade on my cd player. it is a standard cd player ?

A few months ago a friend cut some wires from behind the cd player and had tpo remove some wiring, inc the panel for the cd player on my steering wheel. could this be a cause ?

thanks

I would check those wires ! Fade setting should be under mode / menu settings, chances of both speakers blowing are slim
