But still want to be able to go out in the dark! Anything that darkens the reflectors on the rear of your car is likely to cause issues... The factory darkened lights you can see on some cars are done in such a way as to be road legal and not affect light output - any foreign paint on the inside of your light clusters is likely to reduce light output. Next time you see a car with darkened lights at night - notice how their reflectors likely don't function well either - and if you don't darken the reflectors too it'll look odd. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
