Help needed - Engine malfunction

Featured Replies

Hey all!

New to to this site & in dire need of help!

The other night after putting a full tank of diesel in my cc2 2.0l and driving under just a mile up the road I had the dreaded "engine malfunction" message with the triangle come up on my dash! I have run the on board diagnostics when you hold the reset button and the DTC is showing none, also have plugged it into a cheap reader and that has said its got no faults either. I did notice that my coolant was low & I have topped that up but honestly I don't think that'd have anything to do with it.

thanks in advance!

Edit: also forgot to put there are no other warning lights on the dash. So engine management light or the car with the skids (applogies, forgotten what it's called 😖)
