Durashift gearbox

Featured Replies

Can anyone please advise me. I have just purchased a 2005 Ford Fusion 2 with durashift gearbox.

it sometimes judders when pulling away in 1st gear, especially on hill starts. Is this common .

Can anyone tell me what the problem is.

Many thanks

I've got the ford fiesta mk4/5 51 plate.. And it has this same issue but with second gear,

Only when already moving in second and you try and pick the pace up it Judders..

It also won't let me go back down to first if the car is a moving, I have to come to a complete stop before I can then put it in first.

Could this be the clutch slipping?

Could at be a problem with the exhaust or spark plugs?

If you find out the exact reason for this. Please let me know.

Check the technical knowledge forum as there is a sticky.
