Engine light on!! OBDii .. Fiesta mk4/5 51 plate

Featured Replies

So, the engine maintenance light has shown up on my dash. The engine seems to be running fine, I've tried a few things which I've come across from different forums, none of which works..

My friend has recommended I buy a OBDii scanner to read the problem properly..

He lent me his which wasn'compatible.

So I need to know what OBDii scanner is compatible with the ford fiesta mk4/5 51plate.

Or maybe a list of possible common issues with the engine so I can attempt fixing them.

Depends which one your friend had. I did is standard for all cars from 2003 I believe though most fords supported this from earlier. You may have the OBDI protocol.
