This topic will without doubt have been covered loads and loads but really just wanting a general 'yes it will' or 'no it wont'.

Standard ford focus CD player 4M5T 18C815 AE (Part number) - I want to update this to the Sony CD Player part number 7M5T 18C939 JE - The latter being the oval shape where the original is the rectangle shape. I know i will need the facia to match. The Sony unit is from a MK2 focus (as i understand it).

Is the Sony Unit a straight swap as the plugs look the same but there may be more to it than this.
