Sync 2 with Android. Voice to text?

Just bought a new phone that was suppose to be fully compatible with the Sync 2 system in my mk5 and I have found it cannot reply to text messages with voice, it will only allow you to choose one of the 15 menu lines to reply.

Does anyone have an Android mobile that works with syncs speech/voice to text for replies? Mine is running Android 5.0.1 Lollipop.

If you do can you tell me what phone and if poss the android version its running on.

My wifes Microsoft phone works brilliantly but I hate windows 8 lol.

    I had a Sony SP when I bought my Titanium last year, it worked ok, but not fully. I got a Wileyfox swift at Christmas, which is an entry level phone, as I was fed up of paying over the odds for smart phones, which don't get supported by manufacturers.

    Works great. Seems to be fully compatible, although it wasn't listed on Ford web site.

    You really need to update your android phone.  I am on Marshmallow 6.0.1
