Etis tells me that my car, a 13 plate Ecoboost 100 Fiesta, has supplemental air heater.   Can anyone tell me what this is please?

    It provides additional heat while the car is warming up from what I understand......why not google it?

    its an electric heater element in the heater housing that is controlled by the body control module

    Thanks Ian.   If that was working I wonder if it would stop the stop-start system because of battery drain.
