HELP clicking noises

Hey don't know if I'm in the correct place so il apologise first!

i have a 1.6 tdci 2005 fiesta and every time I change gear and hit the acceleration I have a clicking noise, sometimes this happens when starting the car and turning off! Anyone know what it could be its starting to annoy me
