I am thinking of painting my 17 aloys black to go along with the rest red-black car theme.

But I am not sure If it suits the car!

here I painted (ms paint) only the center of the rim smoky black (you can call it gray as well )

here the center again but black this time

as you can see I am not very good in painting thats I painted only the center of the front wheel, could you help me decide where I should do it?

Has anyone here have some photoshopping skilz to show me the possible outcome?

God no, please NO! All down to personal taste but I LOVE the 17" alloys and in my opinion it is sacrilege to paint them black

Leave them as they are, really sets the car off (imo)

Yes definatley agree with you would of been a nice touch.

red and black goes as that is what i am doing with my car just trying to sell 17 inch wheels so i can purchase some matt black woolfrace with red rims.

yep i do should of just had the steal wheels fitted then i would have them by now.mine are good polished and porboyed every 2 weeks.but only trouble is i will need the tyres i think at moment as the local tyre place to me can get the ultra sticky toyo tyres for 60 quid a tyre.but mine have only done 1'500 miles on them.

can you do the back as well? (am I asking for too much :$ ? )

Whilst I think it a shame to paint over new wheels I think your idea does look pretty good B)

definatly NO to black wheels, but if you really cant keep your hands in your pockets,the only way i can see is a thin red line on the original shiny alloys,(i wouldn't do it, but then i wouldn't paint my wheels black either) just a thought ;)

I'd get some side skirts matey first before spending your dollar on your alloys, thats only my opinion though

I like black alloys, but think they look pretty gash without tyre black

don't worry, I was just filling in a bit of time didn't have a lot else to do the weathers been a bit wet here today and I couldn't get on with anything I was supposed to be doing :)

I could do it quicker but I kept tweaking it a little.

Have you thought about white wheels? might go better with the red?
