2012 Climate Seats - Are they working properly?

Featured Replies

I just bought myself a 2012 Mondeo Titanium X that has the climate seats and I'm not sure if they're working properly.

I've got the 5 different settings for them, first setting will turn them on obviously but then the fan speed doesn't change until its set to 4 and it doesn't change again after that. Surely the fan should get faster with every setting?

This is the same for both the driver and passenger seats.

that sounds like possibly an issue with the heater resistor

Sorry I should have mentioned this is using the cooled seats. Haven't properly tested the heated seats but I guess its all linked. Ill get the garage to look.

Garage believe they are working fine. Said its normal for the fan speed to change on just the first two settings, the rest of the settings just open a vent up a bit more apparently. I'm not so sure though.
