Hi,

can anyone help me here ?

do you know how if you put your steering on full lock you get a hiss form your steering , that I guess is the power steering pressure release valve ! well mine has started doing it whilst driving straight if I gently move the steering say to go round a slight bend it makes the loud hissing sound from the steering wheel , if I stop the car and gently touch the steering wheel left or right I get the same noise as I would if I had it on full lock at the end of the lock

this seems very intermittent, so I'm guessing the pressure release valve has gone weak !

or is it something else anyone ?

thanks

Stef
