Hi,

I've got a 2008 2L Diesel with an auto box. Over the last few months I've been having problems - when accelerating, the revs jump up and down about 200-300 rpm. I thought maybe it was a sensor fault but I can hear the engine noise getting louder and the extra power as well. It doesn't seem to change gear smoothly either now. 

I've read up about the power shift problems but those articles say it didn't come into production until 2010. Is that right or have I got a power shift in my focus?  Also, does anyone know the best course of action?
