Electrical Faults 2.0 fiesta St conversion

Hi all new to the site , i have recently brought a 2004 1.4 fiesta with the 2.0 ST150 conversion out of the 2006 st , the car has a few electrical faults , the fuel gauge doesnt work , the heater blower isnt working so no blower fan at all ,neither electric windows work the drivers side can be pushed up and down by hand so assuming regulator is disconnected and the car overheats when the car is in traffic the fan isnt kicking in , after having a quick look around the engine bay i have found this dangling plug , does anyone know what the plug is for and could it be related to my above problems
