I've always had a soft spot for mk3 fiesta s since I owned one many moons ago.  Is it possible to rebuy and reuse it's number plate? It was K267gpu and was scrapped due to flooded engine and head gasket gone (mayo in filler cap), again many moons ago.  The scrappy has since closed btw

    On scrapping, the vehicle ceases to exist and the VRN that is assigned to it at the time is deleted from the DVLA register and would not be recoverable.

    Wouldn't hurt to contact them though.

    Just curious, how long ago was it that you scrapped it?  I ask as I've checked on the MOT history database and it was last tested in 2011, so maybe in actual fact it stayed on the road for longer than you thought.

    Regardless of that, the fact that it still shows up on the database perhaps means that it is still assigned to the car and could therefore be bought?

    If I ever found another MK4 Fiesta I'd love to get the reg P719ASA back again, but I doubt I'll ever find a MK4 that is worth buying/keeping.
