That black thing is the wiper motor mount...  I thought it seemed odd when I got mine too! Apart from the usual Mk6 Fez checks, make sure it idles well and doesn't want to stall while driving, no

  • Congratulations :) Regarding the power - you're probably driving your ST150 like a diesel and changing up early.  You have to get a normally aspirated petrol higher in the rev range to get the mo

  • Make sure you start the engine in a morning when the engine is cold, starting an engine when previously hot is suspect. Nice to see no oil leaks, that's a good thing. Not on the up with this

Ok, next try here:

http://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do

That should tell you the colour it was when it left the factory, if it is on the original plate.

Sometimes it gets recorded wrong on the V5 and people don't bother to correct it.

I dont have the VIN how to check that the reg is VN56OJL

Reg selector only works in some browsers, I looked it up for you though, Ford says:

Paint:   Frozen White

You'll want to get the V5 corrected.

That is all good then, does the car have chain or cambelt ?

It only did 1061 miles in between 2013-2014 & then the MOT was done 3 months late, looks like it wasn't used much or off the road?

As you're meeting in a central location and not at the registered address make sure you do a HPI check (Even if just through textcheck).

I always advise to meet at the sellers house to ensure honesty (and ask to use their loo to check just in case it's not really their house).

At least it has just under 9 months MoT.

Remember tax and insurance before driving off unless you're trailering it home 😉

Which txt msg should I use I am gonna buy it now ?  Which is best

If you can transfer the policy for the last 3 months then would probably be cheaper than closing the other policy and getting a new quote.

They want £580 over 3 months so what I am paying now 140 a month plus 580:3 so monthly about 340

Ouch.

That's what I pay a year.

Yeah but I will stay what can I do. Anyway if I take out new policy they want £250 deposit then I would need to pay my insurance cancelation fee of £75 that come to £325 so I might as well stay and pay this to them and have year no claim bonus

Very true.

Insurance companies do stack the cards in their favour dont they?!

Yeah its so stupid tried new policy came up what they asking from me for last 3 months !

When I got my Focus ST my insurance company wouldn't transfer the policy or even offer a quote after 3 years loyalty.

Got from another company for£150 less that the previous car which was a 1.8 diesel.

Go figure.
