Oil Leak - Rocker cover change

Featured Replies

Alright guys,

First post here, just got a question about my Fiesta. Got oil building up in the spark plug Wells. Am, I right in thinking I need to replace the rocker cover Gasket? If so, anyone done it before is it a Ballache of a job or pretty straightforward?

The photo attached, is that what I'm after? Euro car parts have got 2 and I didn't wanna spunk money on the wrong one!

Cheers guys

Maybe, but before that, check that the crankcase breather system is all clear. Any blockage here can pressurise the engine and force oil out through the cam cover gasket. I had this on a Vauxhall after a cylinder head change, where they left a load of gunk in the tubes, and kinked a hose.
