Yes, we have F9 on our 17 plate Kuga but only F8 on the 20 plate Focus.

Noticeable difference?

how did u go about getting the update on the kuga?

How did you get the update? House wifi? Ford.c.uk website?

Big difference from F8?

I won’t be downloading from a Russian website! Is it finally , officially released in uk now?

I downloaded the F9 maps from the official ford site onto a Windows 10 PC and then transferred to a 64Gb USB stick

Your all lucky at least you got F8 on your car when it was built . A lot of us are stuck on F7 because of same problem at Ford as for getting F9 onto later vehicles.

I used the ford website. Put in the VIN number, downloaded the files and used a USB drive to install. For the Kuga it’s a massive update as it was on EU 4 prior to F9. So far not found too many differences between F8 and F9 - mainly just small changes to a few roads. Most notable one is the change in road layout around Manchester Airport.

When I log in it says “your software is up to date.” Even though we all know there’s a newer version.

Ford Navigation is disappointing. It was one of the reasons I chose the st X too.
