just heard on the news that button and lewis could be on the same team next year.As bu tton as payed a visit to McLaren factory and Mercedes have brought Braun racing and Braun are getting rid of button so looks like he might be going to McLaren.. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

    Button apparently wants more salary than Mercedes are willing to pay; plus, it's widely accepted that Mercedes would prefer one of the drivers to be German.

    Mercedes wanted to separate from McLaren, as McLaren are launching a new 'supercar' in 2011 I think, which could spoil Merc sales. Shame really, as Brawn could have been great next season with more competitive Ferrari and McLaren teams.

    However, I've also read that Button feels that McLaren will have a more competitive car next season and if Hamilton's end of season performance is anything to go by, I can't say I blame him.
