Hi,

 

I have an 03 Modep Estate 130 DuraTorq Diesel on which the heater doesnt work correctly. Its to hot or cold with no gradual change in temperature in between. i,e if you are on cold position you scroll through all temperatures right the way up to the hot position before any heat appears. Im driving along now constantly turning on the heater to clear the screen the turning it off completely 30 seconds later as its then cooking me.

I`ve asked my local garage to sort it but they say it will be expensive to remove dash to find out what the problem is, but I cant go through another winter like this.

Do any of you knowledgeable guys know what could be the problem?

Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

    Sounds to me like you are probably looking to replace the heating resistor pack?
