Hi, I have been offered a Mk3 saloon 2.5 ghia X automatic 52 reg. Looked up on etis and the spec equals 100% fully loaded.. Everything from factory touch screen sat nav, powerfold mirrors, black leather interior, rear parking sensors, elec sunroof, heated/cooled front seats, "rear pass entertainment??" "ICE feature pack 8"

I cant see any flappy paddles, I see the + and - up/down shift to the right of the shifter. I cant recall the reg to list the options but the list took up 95% of the screen. Owner bought it but cant drive it due to ill health/age. Currently sorned, is asking 800 quid. Its a goldy/silvery type colour. Am I right to expect !Removed! poor mpg for anything bar motorway miles?

I believe 25 mpg is around the normal, expect high 30's to low 40's on longer runs, if it all works fantastic car for the money, what's the mileage?

Hi, cheers for replying. 25ish for local stuff is ok for me, ive averaged high teens in previously owned vehicles. I cant recall mileage  off hand but its over 100k. The interior is immaculate. Always fancied a Mk3 but later ones. I did want one with the  zetec bumpers, but considering how well specced it is trumps that. Is 800 a fair price? The bodywork has its fair share of scuffs but nowt that cant be shifted..

Is the autobox ancient?
