Well, hopefully the new Fiesta ST will be equipped with 1.5EB and only then the performance companies will start to engineer more parts for our engine.

How time flies when you work like a madman because you get more and more on your plate. I completely forgot about this thread and neglected it completely. 

Today marks probably one of my last updates for this car but hopefully I get more time to post on the board with other things. 

 

My trusted 1.5 Ecoboost will leave me in the next days. I have to give it away due to a new purchase I recently made. Having such a reliable car and set up perfectly in terms of engine and suspension, I have very high standards. I had a few track days, I went on various twisty road trips and the car has always performed. This 1.5 Ecoboost is a gem and it saddens me to give it away. 

 

Once the car goes to the dealer, my side projects of modding the car to my taste will be on hold. I will take a break before starting again. Knowing what my new purchase is, it is only a matter of time before I get back in the game. I am already thinking of certain items but I must resist and focus on other things (no pun intended :) ).

Hey Barry, 

I thought long and hard about selling my Focus. I received some offers a while back and said no because it was not for sale. 

I landed from New Zealand and extremely jet lagged I drove down to my dealer for the yearly revision. I saw three RS cars in the parking lot and I ignored them.

Whilst going to give my keys away to the mechanic, I had this itch to go see it them again. 

When i got closer and saw the blue I got hooked. 

It must have been the jet lag because I went to the salesman who sold my original focus and I said I want the blue one. 

He said okay, i get back to you with an offer. 

In 24 hours I got an offer with my car in the offer. 

Had I not been jet lagged, I am sure I would have said no but I signed and now I await for all to be transferred from my car to the new in terms of paperwork. 

It was love at first sight ...

 

 

Very nice mate. wish I could get one :)

I went to the bank and paid the damn thing. 

I have to say, my excitement has vanished for the time being !

Come Saturday I hope to be smiling because my bank accounts aren't

I already bought things due to this car!

I have an RS lanyard for my Key and got an RS jacket :). 

 

I stayed up all night looking at RS exhausts!!

I found a REMUS catback!! OMG :)

The platform is so far ahead of everything I did with my old Focus. 

I drove a few hundred KM today and I am mesmerized.

Finally someone has bought an RS with the right colour alloys, really don't like black wheels,  your car is absolutely beautiful. 

You will be mad at me but those are my winter wheels [emoji23]!


The dealer didn’t do the best of jobs with the car so I gave it a nice winter seal :).

I had two options really. 19 inch forged black for summer with Super Sport and these ones for Winter. 

I like the current ones more than the 19 inch black ones :)

Sadly, the below were the conditions and as I am a responsible driver, I used Sport Mode and not Hooligan mode !

We need to be an example! Nobody has to know that it was sideways on the national road in Sport Mode as well!

What's sad about those conditions? Nice open road and an inch or two of powder!
