St Seat in a standard mk3

Featured Replies

Hi,

My commute to work is a long one, about an hour each way, and i am starting to wish my drivers seat was a bit more on the supportive side.
I've current got a leather, electrically adjustable seat (mondeo zetec-s tdci), i was wondering two things:
1) are the Recaro seats for the ST more comfy/supportive than the normal ones?

2) would they fit / be any problems with airbags etc?

Cheers,

Should fit fine. And you shouldn't have problems with airbags etc, as long as you stick with like for like ie prefacelift for prefacelift. Then you won't have any problems with passenger seat airbag occupancy Sensor.

I agree. I've done that in my ex mk3, too. fits just fine

Well, for me the recaro's were comfortable, because they provided good lumbar support.
