I have one of these fitted to My Fusion. It switches on etc but just displays  info about needing anti theft code.

I have found information that it is an 'M' serial number but is that exactly the same M type Number as all the other Ford anti theft serial numbers.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    I have not got the m number yet. i hope to get it out of the roof lining this weekend.

    Is it the normal M number decoder that can be used.

    no need to remove dvd player, serial number can im led to believe by pressing and holding a button, i will just check what it says. 

    m code decoder should work

    Switch the DVD player ON.

     

    The DVD player will display: Keycode entry requested.

     

    PRESS and HOLD the AUX button for 5 seconds until the DVD player serial number is shown in the display.

     

    Make a note of the DVD player serial number.

    does that make any sense? didnt know there was an aux button on dvd player, or could be the radio?

    Thanks for all the help. I got the number off the side of the unit. Then used the link above.

    It cost me £9 if I remember correctly but it worked ok with the code supplied. Thanks once again.
