Mk3 Mondeo Cruise Control Auto On?

Hi,

I know this is such a minor thing but it annoys me every single time i drive my car.
Is there anyway in a mk3 tdci mondeo to have the cruise control auto turn on so i don't have to press the ON button before i can use it?
I'm happy playing with the wiring behind the dash if that's what it will take.

Cheers!

Connect the wires, connected to the "ON" button, to each other (assuming there are only 2 wires), so that you have a closed circuit.

Every time you start the car, it automatically turns on the CC.

But I think, in this case, you are never again , able to turn the cc off, in case you need to

Yeh, i thought i could just bridge the connection like you suggest. Maybe i could bridge them through a switch in a spare panel on the dash somewhere then it could be turned off if i needed it.
Would holding the button on affect the cruise control in anyway?

I don't think so.

CC is Always 'ON', but there's no speed selected, so  you can drive as fast as you want

That's my opinion
