Hello all,

Am thinking if getting a mk4 mondeo preferably auto as I live in London and will be doing mixed driving I. Motorway and towns so need something relaxed and easy on the knees. Are the autos pretty good and creep and shift smoothly or are the manuals better. Thinking of tit X sport trim

    Hi Ken, I have a titanium with power shift and I absolutely love it, the shift is very smooth, and so relaxing in traffic.

    Cheers mate. Just trying to decide what to get as to be fair driving a manual in London is a pain too much traffic lights. If the powershift is good then will definitely not getting it. Any year or anything to watch out for.

    The powershift box is spot on. It needs the fluid changed at & every 37.5k miles - make sure this has been done on any powershift you're looking to buy. Otherwise there can be issues - certainly according to the talkford forums. It normally costs in the region of £200 to do - my car hadn't had it done and as soon as I realised I booked it in. 

    A great auto box for traffic and the petrol 240ps tit x sport is great fun to drive.

    Am looking at 2009-60 reg so I guess it is not 240ps
