The power operated tailgate sometimes doesn't lift up. The catch opens and then it closes again. This is intermittent so it will surely work perfectly if I take it to the dealer. This is the same when using the key or the button on the door.

Anyone got any ideas?

    Is something getting in the way, check that no debris has got in to the catch or something simple like that. I have the same year with the power boot and for the first time i actually filled the boot this month and the boot refused to shut because a bag was slightly protding the rear scuff plate
