Mondeo Slow after Cluth & Flywheel

Featured Replies

Hello. Its my first time on this forum and first time owning a Ford Mondeo st. Its a 2006 with 109k on the clock. 2.2 tdci.

I just brought the car few days ago and cluth has gone on it. So i took it to the garage and thought id also get the flywheel replaced as i dont know if it has been done. After flywheel/clutch & slave cylinder was replaced i drove out the garage and down the road and as soon as i put it into 2nd gear i heared a clonk sort of noise! Then realised the cars not picking up power. It doesnt have that pull to it at all even with the pedal fully down. It also gets a jerk (not regularly) when im in 2nd or 3rd.

I know the car moves when you put your foot down and this is nothing like it. I took car back to mechanic and he drove it and recons its kind of normal and said drive it and if your not happy it could be that the clutch needs bleeding.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
