Got a couple of questions for you folk!

First of all, what would be the size of the Mk7.5 gear knob thread. I'm looking to get a custom made knob so will require perfect sizing?

The other question being, is there a guide on this forum for the removal of the gear knob/gaitor?

    cant help with the thread size unfortunately but i can with the gator (i hope) it will held on with clips, around the silver trim there will be clips holding it on, carefully take this off either with trim removal tools cheap on ebay or a screwdriver use a cloth to stop scratching the gloss black, it should pop off, off the top of my hear it should be 4-5 clips i think
