sports back box

Featured Replies

Hi there I am new to this and think I am having a mid life crisis.  I have a 2010 mondeo 2.0 TDCI 163BHP  I have just had my wheels powder coated and booked in to get windows tinted.  I am looking for advice on a sports back box? Not looking for it to sound like a Subaru or an Evo, like wise I dont want it to sound like a 1.2l (Limited Edition)Cosra, just something that sound ok at 2500 revs maybe?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Graham

Have you thought about doing a centre box delete? That may help give it a more natural tone. Just be aware that any modification to the exhaust which makes it sound louder then when it left the factory is considered illegal. Apparently there is not a number now that is too loud, I always thought it was 98db, thats what we used to set as he maximum when doing sound tests for the rally cars as they had to travel stage to stage on public roads.
