Ford Mondeo 1.6 2008 not starting due to potential fuel pump relay through BCM unit

Had 2 call outs of the AA due to car not starting, on second occasion AA guy gave the following report. Any advice regarding this as a garage is not likely to be able to diagnose problem correctly unless car is in an non start condition again.

Non start. Oil and coolant levels ok. No fault codes stored. Fuel gauge showing just under a quarter. Put fuel in, in case out of fuel. Still non start. Checked fuel pump fuse, found ok. Checked wiring to fuel pump, but vehicle started when testing. initially thought fuel pump sticking, but when trying to restart, vehicle wouldn't start. On testing the live feed to fuel pump, found no longer getting a live. Put live to it briefly then vehicle would start and run ok. suspected fuel pump relay must be at fault. On further investigation, found that the fuel pump relay is incorporated within the body control module(BCM) Requires further investigation, strongly suspect BCM at fault
