I've got a good feeling about 2010, how about the rest of you?

Well, years ending with an even number have brought me luck, I hope it rules again, call it a supersitition ;)

By the way, I wish you all a happy, peaceful and healthy new year - Mutlu Yıllar (in Turkish). :D

Can't be much worse than '09! I'm optimistic as ever ;)

09 wasn't too bad - '05 was far worse. But I think I now know what I want to do with my life, so now I have a plan for 2010 which should set me up for years to come. I left school when I was 16, and now years down the line I think its time to return. I plan to do an access course with an aim of going to Uni within the next 2 and a half years to do a certain course. Best be quick though - else I'll be far too old to be going to uni! :)

EDIT: Also I really have to stop drinking so much! So in 2010 hopefully I will drink less!

Sounds good to me. I left a job I had hated for 9 years this year and have gone back to study too. My current job pays for all my courses in childcare which is good. '05 was a shocker for me too come to think of it!

What course is it you want to do? Or is it super secret? :P

Looking to study Social Work or something closely related to that. All I have are the bare-minimum GCSE's though so I'm going to have to do an access course first, but that wont start until september 2010 so its a long way off still. Probably wont be able to do access full time either (I have to work full-time), so would have to be part time, which would take two years! It's a pretty long-winded plan lol! But I think this is the way forward for me - although it has taken many years to work this out! :)

Took me years to figure out what I wanted to do too, even now I'm still not sure if I could do it forever  I would just like to win the lottery really, that would suit me just fine :)

lol! If you won the lottery you would have an easy life, but an easy life is a boring life, and you wouldnt want that would you? Be sure to pass on some of those winnings to me though lol, I badly need a holiday :)
