I have a 2006 mk6 fiesta zetec s and I want to know if it's possible to do a straight swap and have an ST engine put straight in, if this is possible I want to know how much it usually costs for the complete conversion

    I would have thought it would be cheaper and easier to sell yours and buy an ST. The insurance will be cheaper and you wont have to change the looms, ancillaries or upgrade the brakes.

    At the minimum you'll need the engine, exhaust, gearbox, driveshafts, ECU, clocks, Key transponder

     

    Ideally you'd then need the brakes, rear beam, ST hand brake cable 

     

    Honestly not worth the work once you've insured it

    New to this but was reading this topic and was wondering why you would need to change the rear beam
