Hi I have a 2003 fiesta 1.4 ghia that is over heating it is not the thermostat or the water pump the does not always kick in but does work and the wiring is ok some one said it maybe the ecu is this possible drives fine untill to hot help please any info

Sorry but I'm confused are you talking about the air con system as this is this pump is switched on or off. I thought that the water pump is on continues no matter what  driven by the belt and the engine temperature is then governed by the thermostat and water in the radiator that  is cooled by ram air and an axillary fan. If its the air con system you mean then try a re gas and leek test at your local garage that does this.
