Mondeo heated and cooled seats retro fit, help wanted.

Featured Replies

Hi,

New member here. I have a 2008 Mondeo MK4 Ghia which I've had for nearly 4 years now and still love driving it. I'm always doing things to it and my latest project is fitting half leather heated and cooled seats. They are all in now and I have power to the drivers adjustment and that works fine, what I'm stuck on is the heated and cooled part. I've installed a OEM heated and cooling control switch with loom and that works, it even lights up when the side lights are on. What I've found is that I've not got the three section fuse box in the back of the car, only one section. So what I'm asking is... what other parts do I need as the output from the switch is a single wire so there must be a control unit that tells the seats which to turn on, eg heating or the cooling depending on the lights ( red or blue) on the control switch. Also I would need the wiring diagram to the module and where I can get power. I do know that the plug to the heaters in the seats is the green one and the cooling is the blue one. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
