The footrest is a special from European Parts, Ford do not stock the item. However, I believe the Mondeo XR5T/Titanium X now have an allow footrest to match the pedals, perhaps you could buy this by its self? The footrest for EP is very exxy, but I too didn't want to ruin the carpet so I bit the bullet. Looks the !Removed! and a sinch to install :)

Thats good thinking there! I checked and found this:

But you must buy the whole set :(

Does anybody have this or thinking about getting it?

Looks much nicer than the standard plasticy one, but it's about £120 so its !Removed! expensive

what do you guys think?

Maybe if i had leather seats i'd consider it, even at £120! But i don't, so i won't :P

I have the red leather one as part of the individual pack, very nice and quite chunky

I'm thinking of getting the alloy pedals but I'd want a matching footrest! How can it be that there seem to be a billion and one gearstick gaiters but no footrests?

never seen even one picture of this...can you please - please make a topic and add some pics for us to see what the individual pack looks like(interior & exterior!)

The Individual pack is very smart - but i hate the fact that it says "Individual" on the seats and flloor mats  Would make them more 'indivdual' by removing the stupid logos IMO

But, the feel and look of the red leather (the one i sat in in my local dealership) and i presume same on the blue Individual leather, is stunning! B)

Ive been trying to get this for over a year from Ford but it is always out of stock. I eventually gave up but after seeing the pictures, i think i will attempt to get one again As you say FMC, its too expensive for what it really is!

Anyone got a part number for this?

Before anyone mentions it - yes, I've dug up an old thread.

What do the foot rests actually attach to? The fixings look more like something you'd stick into a plasterboard wall than part of your car!?!

I've managed to get hold of a Mk4 Mondeo alloy pedal set (for a damn slight less than the £100 RRP), so I'm hoping to use the large footrest from that set, but I haven't really investigated what I'm drilling into to secure it to - anyone know?

Hey fella. The screws actually just screw into the carpet. Yeah, I know, sounds a bit dodgy, but it actually works quite well. If you get all four screws tightly into the carpet and the sound proofing material behind it, it won't move anywhere. My footrest was from EP, yes it was pricey, but it works quite well and looks good.

Well that was surprisingly simple - Danny was right!

Used the footrest as a template to drill some holes through the carpet, enlarged them to take the 'plaster board' screw thingys and then just screwed the footrest into place. Simples.

Due to the size of the footrest (it does come from a Mondeo afterall) I've had to fit it following the edge of the carpet underneath, which means its not sitting totally striaght, but other than that it pretty much looks like it was meant to be there.

Appologies for the size (and quality of the photos) - its still early! (ish)
