Numerous electrical problems

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Please excuse me as i'm new to these forums.

My problem is I have a mk5 Mondeo 2L 180ps titanium x and I have had a number of issues with this vehicle, which are:

car has side sensors that go off for no reason as if you are about to crash into something

burning smell from heated seats

electric seat doesn't move back/forth when the ignition is switched off/on like it is supposed to do

sensors in the back seats show someone sitting in the backseat when there isn't

radio comes on by itself, chooses a station which can't be changed or switched off unless you switch off the engine and open the door.

Sat Nav comes on by itself and chooses a random destination

There are other electrical faults but Ford say there is nothing wrong with the car. Please help!!!!
