I have recently Bought a Mk 4 Titanium x Sport.

 

Does anyone know where I can get some gas bonnet struts brackets etc from? preferably decent ones. 

I have the standard bonnet prop on the car and think it needs to have gas struts :)

    I'll vouch for sgs,

    have used them for my own car, had an issue with one strut which was iffy from the start. I thought to begin with they were going to get wide but they asked if I could give it a week and see how it goes. It had completely failed within the week so they asked for a picture of the seal to confirm and sent me a replacement unit straight away without asking for the old unit back. So yes, I'd certainly use them again.

    Thank you for replying

    I went onto SGS and they only do tailgate/boot gas struts. They didn't have any for a bonnet. Or does  this not matter?

    You'd need to email them and see if they could provide something or go with what stoney has posted above.
