ok, so a month or so ago i posted about my mondeo with the flashing glow plug light and it turned out to be the turbo actuator. and its been running very well, until recently.

Now what happens is when you boot the car and get the revs high, it goes into limp mode flashing glow plug light and sometimes the engine will cut out completely, when you restart the car everything goes back to normal until you boot it in the high revs again, i also had the engine light come on too so did a code read and got the code "Fault Code P0251 - Injector pump fuel metering control (cam/rotor/injector)", its already had a new fuel filter last month and ive carried out a leak off test and all four injectors leaked a very minimal amount and they all leaked off the exact same amount too, so what shoul i look at next?

Its recently been de-catted and straight piped, egr cleaned out also and the fuel pump and injectors were renewed 5 years ago.

 

any help will be greatly appreciated 

ok, little update, ive installed a new bosh fuel filter as there was a crossland one on there but its hasnt made a difference

I would have a look at the cam sensor easy part to change and cheap
