No diesel going to engine

Featured Replies

I've just had the engine completely rebuild on my 2009 diesel mk4 mondeo but there is now no diesel being sent to the engine despite there being half a tank in the car. Is this a fault with the fuel pump or is there a reset button somewhere? Frustrating as the car is ready to go but won't start

Sounds like it could be or maybe fuel pump relay or bad connection to the pump

Have you bled the fuel lines, could be an air lock,

I had the same problem with my 2008 Fiesta.  Turned out to be the fuel pump and was told that this is not an unusual problem.

As in the lift pump under the seats?
